Roadtrip

Last month my family went to the province to attend the wedding of my SIL. And instead of taking a flight which is the most practical means of transportation nowadays, the hub opted that we travel via road/sea trip. And though I was quite hesitant at first because it would took us one night and two days on the road plus a ferry boat ride in between, I gave-in to his plan. And gee, I was so glad that we did ,cause aside from the chance of seeing the beauty of the countryside,

we get to bond with each other really well. Afterall, we got nothing to do inside the car as we travel but talk, munch junkies and sleep (except for the one driving of course). And as a bonus, we were able to sample/eat local delicacies everytime we made a stop-over for a breather and some stretching. Sure, roadtrip is physically tiring but at the same time FUN. Here’s a pic while our car is crossing the San Juanico bridge:

Fave Pic

I have had taken a lot of shots lately and though I don’t have that talent to take great pictures, I have a few personal favorite from my file.

One of those is the picture of my son as shown:

This was taken in Lipata Port, Surigao City at daybreak while we are waiting for the ferry that would took us to Liloan on our way back to Manila. It was such a beautiful morning it could made you reflect and be awed by God’s great creations. HIS work of art is simply perfect!

Sweet Home

Just got back from a family vacation and we sure have had fun bonding. But before we went to our little trips, we paid a vist for to our Lady of Manaoag as our way of giving thanks for all the blessings;

a visit to our Lady of Manaoag

It’s sure fun to visit old familiar places:

and new ones too;

in Disneyland- a childhood dream came true

But most of all, it’s nice to be back home, sweet home.

But then again, I agree with the saying that home is where the heart is. And for my family, our home right now is here,

in our little place - TOGETHER.

Busy with Sis

I was busy but having fun for the past few days. My sister is having her vacation and opted to spend days with us. We did some “sisters’ act” so to speak, and I was just too happy to be of help to her somehow. My sis is such a giving and kind person. I pray that our Heavenly Father would bless her more and more, always.

Speaking of buziness, last weekend we went to Tagaytay to attend the Sunday massat our Lady of Lourdes Church ( I took this pic after the mass) and had lunch at my fave resto, overlooking Taal Volcano . After which, we visited our eldest brother who had just arrived from his vacation in the US of A (Anne, salamat sa padala mo sa papa mo ha?). We had fun by just being together, sharing thoughts on just about everything.

To my sis, thank you for everything, for your love and kind gestures. Thank you sa pasalubong too…I will pray for your happiness, good health and prosperity. Stay happy and lovely . You’re such an inspiration to me. I love you sis and all my siblings. God bless us all.
